Claiming to feature over 700 jobs (including landscape architecture and urban design, as well as architecture), the site is easy to use, with users able to search for jobs by location and role. The site's aim is "to save end employers money on their recruitment processes and provide jobseekers with a quality range of vacancies to browse and apply for". The design of the site is modern and professional, allowing users to carry out detailed searches or browse the available vacancies by sector (including architecture and property as well as construction) and location. Details of current jobs - 150 at the time of Sapling's review - are displayed clearly and neatly, and include the ability to apply online. The site also offers a range of useful services for jobseekers, including advice on CV writing, interview tips, industry news and an impressive listing of construction-related links. Users can browse jobs by sector, location, recruiter or discipline; areas particularly relevant to Sapling users include architecture, construction management, surveying, and urban planning. Usefully, job profiles can be posted and viewed in any of ten languages - Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portugese, Russian and Spanish - while the site itself is neatly designed and very intuitive to navigate. The site's tagline - "find thousands of construction jobs worldwide" - is rather optimistic, given that a total of 219 jobs were listed at the time of Sapling's review. Hyperbole aside, however, Go 4 Construction Jobs is undoubtedly a useful resource, with great potential. [GAS, 28 Aug 2006].
