I am an Engineering student at Messiah College. I am currently working on a project that is concerned with taking the HDPE Bags which are littered all over Africa soulth of the Sahara and making them into agricultural products via appropriate technologies, i.e. culturally appropriate, economically sustainable, environmentaly friendly methods. Our goal is to engineer a process by which sapling planter pots could be made locally in poor regions form wasted plastic matterials. Any information would be apreciated and hopefully as our research continues we may have information for you as well.
