This website is wholly in Italian, but the AltaVista translation button, conveniently located on the home page, does allow English speakers to get the gist. Essentially, the site is concerned with the Italian Archaelogical Mission's visits to Cartagine (Carthage) in Tunisia, in 2001 and 2003, in relation to a conservation and restoration plan for the 'Mountain Barn' reservoir. The site features historical and archaeological background about Carthage, and detailed information about the visit, its purpose, and findings. The site is well illustrated and clearly organised, although the animated effect between pages is unnecessary. Similarly, the banner and pop-up ads - the kind where when you get rid of one, another pops up - are quite horrible. [GAS, 4 Sep 2005].
