Leeds Action to Create Homes (LATCH)

LATCH is a self-help housing charity that runs projects working with homeless people and volunteers in Leeds. It supports people to refurbish previously empty, derelict and run-down houses, which eventually become their homes. Pratt Center for Community Development

Formerly known as PICCED, the Pratt Center for Community Development "works for a more just, equitable, and sustainable city for all New Yorkers, by empowering communities to plan for and realise their futures", and was established in 1963 to create a partnership between Pratt Institute's Department of City and Regional Planning and local organisations that were struggling to address issues of urban deterioration and poverty. As well as information about the Center's history, the site has excellent news and publications and resources sections, together with full coverage of its current initiatives and the services offered.
