The overall aim of the website is to showcase the interior design work of David Bentheim, and it does this extremely effectively - mainly through high quality images of his work for clients such as Wagamama, the Natural History Museum and Iberdrola, and through brief textual annotations that help convey something of Bentheim's design philosophy. To complete the picture, the website also includes background information about the company, a client list, news of upcoming designs, and a page of links to useful resources. The site is refreshingly simple, with a clear and attractive design. As well as a company profile, the site features up-to-date news about the practice, a look inside its studio, and a list of existing clients. The case studies section provides an excellent showcase for the company's work, including bars, restaurants and hotels; brands; exhibition and lighting; housing; offices; signage; shops; and sport and leisure. Studio D2 Hospitality Design

Studio D2 is a London-based design company specialising in restaurant, bar and hotel design, and whose services "range from everything to site appraisal and feasibility, conceptual to turn key". In addition to illustrated details of the firm's services and a small page of links, the site includes what it describes as "images and case studies of successful restaurants and reasons as to why they are successful", each featuring decent quality photographs and insightful descriptions. Apparently, visitors to the site will also soon be able to download a mini e-book on restaurant design, planning and license application procedures. The site itself comes in three versions, two using Flash, for high and low bandwidths respectively, and a third in plain HTML. However, the HTML version is so well-designed and intuitive you have to wonder whether the more complicated Flash alternatives are really necessary. [GAS, 20 Jun 2006].
