Claiming to feature over 700 jobs (including landscape architecture and urban design, as well as architecture), the site is easy to use, with users able to search for jobs by location and role. Elsewhere, features on creating a CV and handling job interviews afford the site added value as a resource. However, the site was not working when Sapling last checked. [GAS, 13 Oct 2006].

Launched in August 2005, Architecture Jobs is a new job site from the team behind Constructor.co.uk, with over 350 featured architecture and landscape architecture jobs at the time of Sapling's review. Users can search the entire database, or narrow down their query by employment type, industry sector, salary range or location. A page of links is also provided, while the design of the site is clear and intuitive. [GAS, 13 Oct 2006].

Architecture.co.uk describes itself as "the UK's definitive architecture recruitment job board and website", advertising the latest permanent, temporary or contract architectural vacancies, including architect, technical, assistant, design, planning, CAD and senior appointment positions and jobs - "from major architectural practices, from principal employers and from leading industry recruiters - right across the UK". The site has a professional appearance and an attractive colour scheme, with dedicated sections for jobseekers (free registration required) and employers. Jobseekers can easily browse the site by job type, with jobs in CAD management, interior design, visualisation, urban design and landscape design all featured, as well as architecture. With what it claims are hundreds of advertisers and over 25,000 subscribers, Environmentjob.co.uk badges itself as "the UK's No.1 website for jobs and volunteering opportunities in the environmental sector". Users can search the entire database or browse by sector, with headings covering conservation, environmental campaigning, renewable energy, energy efficiency, recycling, ecology, environmental education, organics, sustainability and sustainable transport. The site also offers a 'jobs by e-mail' function, a listing of the most popular jobs based on user clickthroughs, and a well-organised page of related links. The design and layout of the site is superb - clean, crisp and intuitive, with just the right amount of white space. Awarded a Sapling Commendation. [GAS, 22 Feb 2007].
