UK Local Government Information

The highlights of this invaluable site are the clickable maps with links to all the UK county councils, district councils and unitary authorities that maintain websites. Alternatively, sites can be accessed from a text listing, in county sequence for England and in simple alphabetical order for each of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Other useful features include a table of Council Political Compositions, and a number of local government related links. There are few aesthetic bells and whistles here, but what the site might lack in style it more than makes up for in its ease of use and functionality. Awarded a Sapling Commendation.
