I'm just saying that what's the use saving this building? The local council will obviously be suaved by some person who wants to abuse the building. And besides, even if the cinema is saved and restored, only those wondering what it is or those who had a close connection with it will go there. The other people will choose the cinema at The Gate. Why? Because of a broader choice of movies over 12 screens. This building has only 4 screens. Even with the lush Art Deco interior, this building will be questioned by snobs that belive multiplexes are the way of the future. All in all, you have to ask yourself. Is what we're doing still worth it?
NOTE: I do expect some negative response from this, but I understand. There will be a lot who'll keep on fighting for it's safety.
