Sunrooms

Sunroom is more of an American term than an English one, but we think it’s one we should be happy to import as it perfectly describes what we build.
Sunrooms let you bring the outside in, but without the rain, breezes or winds that can spoil your enjoyment when simply sitting in the garden. And a sunroom will extend your enjoyment of the garden at both ends of the year, letting you enjoy spring even on chilly days and cool autumn evenings. No wonder for many people, the sunroom becomes their favourite room in the house.
The weather is always perfect inside a Sunroom, so imagine how you can enjoy it as a family room, a playroom for young children, a dining area, or simply the perfect place to relax and unwind at any time of day or night.
Constructed from wood and double glazed for maximum thermal efficiency a sunroom is not just an attractive addition to your property, it is one that you will increasingly come to value and is likely to become the centre of activity for your home.
Your sunroom can be constructed from a hardwood such as teak or oak; woods that are both full of natural oil and that can be left to weather in the elements completely untreated. Because of their resin content they are extremely durable and will last for centuries.
Alternatively you can oil the timbers to accentuate the natural grain or paint them to match your home, its architecture and character. These are all decisions that are best made before your conservatory is built and thus time spent with one of our design consultants who will listen to your ideas and get to understand your tastes so we can design a sunroom that matches your lifestyle, is an essential part of the planning process.
